Quso alternative (formerly Vidyo.ai): one Shorts queue per channel

Facts checked on October 22, 2026.

Verdict: Quso or Stratos·Clip

Vidyo.ai is now called Quso: its pricing address redirects to quso.ai, and Quso tells former customers their plan and price stay the same. A Vidyo.ai alternative is therefore a Quso alternative. Like Stratos·Clip, Quso cuts your long videos into short captioned clips. The difference shows when it is time to post. Quso posts to YouTube from Essential, $39 a month, with one YouTube channel per social set and 5 sets at most. Going by its guides, every post gets its own date and time, and the Growth plan schedules several at once. Stratos·Clip includes 3 channels from Starter, at $29.90 a month, and each channel is set up once: slots or a number of posts per day, then the queue posts whatever is ready. If you also post to TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X or Pinterest, Quso covers those networks and Stratos·Clip does not.

Quso and Stratos·Clip in their own words

Quso describes itself as an AI video clipping and social media tool: it turns long videos, podcasts and streams into captioned clips, transcripts and text posts, then schedules them to TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube and Pinterest.

Stratos·Clip scores every moment of a long video on seven criteria, including hook, debate and quote. It edits the best ones into Shorts with a template that fits the content: podcast and interview, gaming, reaction, series and fiction, full frame. Then it posts them to your YouTube channels, its only network.

Credits measure different things. On Quso, a credit is one minute of uploaded video: a 10-minute video costs 10 credits. Clips, captions and written text are counted on that uploaded length, rounded up to the next minute, and editing, posting or downloading the clips costs nothing more. On Stratos·Clip, a credit pays for 10 analyzed minutes or one rendered Short.

One social set per client, or one queue per channel

Quso's guide walks through scheduling a post once editing is done. You open "Downloads", then "Publish" and "Schedule". You pick the accounts, write the description, set a thumbnail, check the preview, then choose the date and time the post goes live. The post lands in the "Scheduled Posts" list, where it can be edited, rescheduled or deleted. Scheduling several posts at once belongs to the Growth plan, at $49 a month. The scheduler's product page also announces automatic repeat posts; the help articles read on October 22, 2026 do not describe it. The content planner, included from Essential, suggests posting times per network and generates a calendar based on your niche and posting habits. None of the guides read on October 22, 2026 describe a slot that repeats on its own.

For accounts, Quso thinks in "Social Sets". A set links one account per network; your first paid subscription comes with one, and you can buy up to 5 in total. That means one YouTube channel per set, 5 at most, at a set price Quso does not publish. Sets exist to keep clients or brands apart.

Stratos·Clip counts YouTube channels directly: 3 on Starter, 8 on Pro, 20 on the Agence plan (for agencies), then $4.00 a month for each extra channel. The rhythm belongs to the channel and is set once: slots, for instance 9 am and 6 pm, or 1 to 10 posts a day. A ready Short joins its channel's queue without a date. An hourly scheduler picks from it and alternates source videos, so one episode does not take over the day. You stay in charge of every Short: pull it from the queue or schedule it by hand.

To keep an eye on a channel, check its runway: the number of days its queue still covers. An upload refused by YouTube's quota moves to the next slot. This setup posts about 500 Shorts a week on our own channels, October 2026 count.

One month of Shorts, priced on both

One YouTube channel, two Shorts a day, and four one-hour videos to cut this month.

On Quso, posting to YouTube takes at least Essential: $39 a month and 300 credits. Four hours of video make 240 minutes, so 240 credits. Credits are shown before any processing starts. Quso does not publish how many clips an hour of video yields: you cannot tell in advance whether four hours will give the month’s sixty clips. On Essential, going by the guides read, each clip you keep then goes through the scheduling screen with its own date and time, about sixty times a month at this pace. The Growth plan, at $49 a month, schedules several posts at once. On a monthly plan, leftover credits vanish at month end.

On Stratos·Clip, an hour of video gives about 16 Shorts for 22 credits, analysis and rendering included. The four videos cost four times 22 credits, within the 180 of Starter at $29.90. They yield about four times 16 Shorts, which join the queue without dates: set to two posts a day, the channel covers the month. Credits you do not spend carry into next month.

The gap widens with each channel. A second YouTube channel on Quso means a second Social Set, at an unpublished price. On Stratos·Clip, it is one of the 3 channels of Starter, set up once like the first.

Paid plans open with online payment. Until then, the “Notify me at launch” button on the pricing grid records your email and the plan you want, and the free plan already posts to one channel, up to 2 Shorts a day.

When Quso is the better pick

  • You post to several networks: Quso schedules to 7 platforms from Essential, Stratos·Clip posts to YouTube Shorts only.
  • You run many accounts on those networks: Quso's help center lets you link up to 35, 5 per network, by buying sets.
  • You mostly post to TikTok on a tight budget: Quso's Free and Lite plans already post there.
  • You prefer yearly billing: Quso offers it, and Stratos·Clip has no yearly plan to date.
  • You want a written list of supported languages: Quso publishes one, over 20 languages and accents.
  • Your videos are not in French. The Stratos·Clip interface is in French, and detection and titles have only been measured on French-language videos. Try one video on the free plan first.
  • You buy credits ahead: on Quso, add-on credits never expire.

Switching from Quso to Stratos·Clip

  1. Open your space with your Google account, then connect your YouTube channel through Google's official sign-in; Stratos·Clip only acts on the videos it posts.
  2. Set the channel's rhythm once: slots, or 1 to 10 posts a day.
  3. Open Quso's "Scheduled Posts" list: let what is scheduled go out, or delete it before its time. Start the Stratos·Clip queue after the last post, so no day gets two.
  4. Add your long videos by YouTube link or by file. Clips edited on Quso do not import as finished clips: Stratos·Clip starts again from the original videos.
  5. Add your other YouTube channels when paid plans open: Starter includes 3. Until then, the free plan posts to one.
  6. Before cancelling Quso, use up the month's credits: they do not roll over, and the plan stays active until the cycle ends.
